As we approach the close of 2024, it’s a natural time to reflect on the year past and set our sights on what lies ahead. True to the saying “out with the old, in with the new,” this year marked a significant turning point for me personally and professionally. After a rewarding 10-year chapter at Ostendio, I embarked on an exciting new journey with SimplAI Product in September.

In my post, Introducing SimplAI Product, I shared insights into this transition, delving into why I founded SimplAI Product and its mission to transform how businesses think about and execute product development.
One of the first questions I addressed was the critical decision many companies face when building a leadership team: CPO or CTO – Which Should Come First? This post explored the unique value of the product role and why prioritizing it can have a profound impact on a company’s trajectory.
For businesses striving to integrate product thinking into their strategy, my post on Building a Product Roadmap That Aligns with Business Goals provided actionable guidance on how to create roadmaps that serve as bridges between vision and execution.
As the year progressed, AI continued to dominate headlines, and I took the opportunity to reflect on its past, present, and future in AI: Not Quite Déjà Vu All Over Again. I revisited the evolution of AI, underscoring the lessons learned and the opportunities that remain ahead.
In my final post of the year, Synthetic Data – The Impending AI Pandemic, I tackled the complexities of synthetic data, highlighting its potential and the risks that demand careful oversight. This brought me back to a central theme: the critical role product teams must play in ensuring AI technologies are developed and deployed responsibly.
Looking forward to 2025, I’m genuinely excited for the opportunities that lie ahead—not just for AI and product management, but for the work we’re doing at SimplAI Product to empower organizations to build better, smarter, and more ethical solutions.
To all our readers, thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to a new year filled with growth, innovation, and success.
Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2025!
